The managers are responsible over the entire performance of the business. All the different managerial dimensions affect the performance output of the business. The use of theory as you mentioned can add a lot of value to the business research process. College students go to school in order to learn about a field of study. During the learning process the student is exposed to hundreds even thousands of different theories or concepts.
